So we're back to uni today. =( I feel damn stupid. I was actually rostered on Sunday night 8pm-4am even though I had class 8am on Monday. So I told myself I'll take an 'early-out' if it was offered to me. Around 1.30am my table closed and I was asked to ask around who wants to go home early. And I was so blur to actually do that, send someone home only then to realised I myself wanted to go home early. >.<

Anyway, on a brighter note, I'm eligible for the $900 government stimulus package. =)

So I finally got my internet back after 1 week of waiting for my new service provider to get it installed. I don't know it's a good thing or not that the week coincided with most of my 1 week Easter break. It wasn't really my fault it took a week caused I was told it will take 3-5 working days to get it installed. What I did not expect was Easter Friday and Monday were both public holidays, thus screwing everything up. Oh well, it ain't that bad. At least I got it 1 day after Xan when he applied for it like 1-2 weeks before me. XD

Anyway, I've been telling Ken that I have a very valid reason for postponing my assignments and suppose-to-do holiday catch up uni work since I don't have internet. And since I got my internet today, I said over dinner I'll go home and start work right tonight. But here I am, at 4am in the morning, work untouched. >.<

LOL. Been youtubing for the whole night. Well, I've got to catch up on lost time after all. =p

So summer school finished yesterday, which is a huge relief. Not because of the hectic combination of work and uni, but mostly down to the bloody hot weather. It's been 40+ degrees in Melbourne for the past few days, with temperatures hitting a record high of 45 today. Trains are being canceled left, right and center due to the hot weather, and the weather doesn't even make the journey comfortable to begin with. Imagine yourself in a overpacked train like sardines where everyone's sweating. I reckon we should start carrying deodorant everywhere we go.

It's even hot at when I'm working at night. It even comes to a stage where dealers are given the option to not wear their vests. It's so hot today that power generators can't cope with the overheating which resulted in a power outage across the city, including Crown Casino. And on the day it happens, I'm not working. Damn! That would be easy money. =)

If you wanna know how heaven feels like, lemme tell you. Going to the post office in midday today and coming back to a pre-air conditioned room. =) I'm not gonna even start thinking about the next electricity bill. >.<
